SF Baby Shower

It was so amazing to have everyone join us to celebrate the coming birth of Oliver. The kids at 1020 1/2 really did it up with hosting the party… Thanks Karl, Andy and Berkely… and thanks to every one that showed up and gave us their support, blessing and love.

SF Baby Shower invite

Here’s the invite I designed for our SF Baby Shower. I used Walkway and Zapata for the fonts and made the flowers in Illustrator. I converted the flowers to a symbol, which allowed me to spray them around, rotate, and tweak the scale quite easily. I love using the symbol sprayer in Illustrator, cause it allows you to turn something simple into a random, and complex composition.

A second baby shower was thrown for Trinity in Salt Lake. Trin’s cousin Monica orginized the shower. Our friend Tyler captured the moment with some great photos. Once again, so many friends and family members showed up to SHOWER her with love and support. Thank you!!!

Dad’s day during the shower

While the ladies were at the shower and after my car moving and balloon hanging duties were finished, my step father Steve, Trin’s brother Tony, nephew Jake and I all went and played at Boondocks. I know Steve will be a great “pappa”, cause he’s amazing with my sister’s boys. As I looked upon Tony with his son I couldn’t help my excitement knowing that soon it will be me snapping photos and cheering on my son.

Colorado baby shower

Trinity and I went to Colorado for my family’s annual reunion. We were surprised to find out that my sister had organized a surprise baby shower for us at my dad’s and step mother’s house. We were so amazed by the amount of friends and family that showed up to SHOWER us with love, gifts, support, and advise. Thank you!!!
