36 week sonagram
Just a check up to make sure Oliver is lined up and ready for a beautiful and natural birth. The doctor visit went very well.
It’s a boy! :: Maybe
At 18 weeks we had our third sonogram, mainly to make sure the baby was hit’n its marks and to see what the sex was. It wasn’t too clear, but the sonogram images suggest that’s it’s a boy. We weren’t really hoping for any particular sex, contrary to the grandparents wishes for a girl, but we were definitely surprised to see his nibbly bits. I still think you can see his little cute face in some of the images in pretty good detail.

“herm” at 13 weeks
We had our second sonogram today at 13 weeks. It was amazing to see how much the baby has changed since we saw the first sonogram just 4 weeks ago. As you may hear in the video, the baby has very distinquishable arms, and legs. Fingerprints have formed on the tiny fingertips already. If we’re having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Which means we already were forming inside of our grandmothers when our mothers were in utero… now thats a trip. The baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp according to babycenter.com) and weighs nearly an ounce. We can’t believe how much we love the little peanut already.
